Development Coordinator
Summary of Position
The Development Coordinator will provide essential support to and be responsible for a wide range of development efforts at Kanbe’s Markets, with a primary focus on donor data management and grant/proposal writing. Responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for grant proposals and preparing grants for submission, maintaining the donor database, preparing donor reports and other donor stewardship materials and providing general support for the daily activities of the development team. The individual is someone who believes deeply in the mission of Kanbe’s and is excited to help develop successful donor partnerships that will allow Kanbe’s to rapidly scale its impact in Kansas City and beyond. This position reports to the Chief Development Officer.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years relevant work experience, with experience in grant writing/fundraising preferred.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
